Check out the equestrian competition at the Canadian Show Jumping Tournament September 21-25 at the Caledon Equestrian Park in Palgrave, Ontario. Last year the show raised more than $30,000 for the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada. In keeping with this wonderful tradition, the Children’s Wish Foundation will once again be the beneficiary of this year’s Canadian Show Jumping Tournament. This equestrian event is the final outdoor event in Eastern Canada to qualify towards the prestigious Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto Many of Canada's top Grand Prix riders including Olympian Ian Millar will be competing over the course of the week.
The Family Village, open Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 5pm, has activities and entertainment for the whole family. Including over 50 vendors, a Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, the Home Depot Kid's Workshop, the Canadian Raptor Conservancy Birds of Prey, the York Region Sssciensational Snake exhibit, the OPP Canine Unit, the Horseless Horseshow and the amazing flying Disc Dogs!!
Admission is $10 per car. Proceeds collected at the gates will be donated to the Palgrave Rotary Club.
